Your figure looks different here... maybe it's the hair?

Also, I like the orange... elements of potential symbolism.

:) I think its the hair, crop, angle, plus the lighting in terms of my figure. Hm. All of those things effect every other picture too.

The orange... it was a tasty one too. :p

Read through the comments before commenting myself; well, at least the first page of them.

May not be about beauty, is beautiful. Now, why? I venture, not the obvious or cliche reason of 'she's nude'.

Three levels related to this title. The orange (yes, I looked closely before reading comments, noted that it's partially peeled) is partially uncovered. The hands have uncovered the orange. The woman (yes, I know it's you) is also uncovered. At the same time, all three levels are covered in dignity and presence. Life incipient (the orange) will be consumed to sustain life extant (the woman) who is, again, life inicipient.

Thanks for the thoughtful comment. The title's of my self portraits aren't necessarily there to give insight into the work's meaning, its more so because DA requires you have one so whatever vague thing pops into my head becomes the title. :)

Somehow you made yourself an archetype of beauty in this pic. :D :rose:

What are you holding in your hand?
